The average person tells a 3 lies for every 10 minutes of conversation. We all lie, and others lie to us.
Despite our daily contact with deception, researchers have discovered that the vast majority of people can successfully detect a lie on 50% of occasions.
This is the same result as you’d get tossing a coin!
All of the standard techniques for lie detection, like checking if they break eye contact, hesitate or sweat produce the same result. No better than chance, the same a guessing.
Modern lie detection has finally discovered reliable and practical techniques for detecting deception. One of the pioneers of the field is Dr Paul Ekman who discovered how micro expressions, facial expressions which can last for less than one fifth of a second, can reveal emotions subjects are attempting to conceal.
Daneel Foyer’s Lie To Me workshop will teach you the genuine, reliable deception detection techniques which are being taught to police, interrogators, government, and investigative agencies around the world.
During the workshop your group will learn;
- To see and understand micro expressions.
- To see and understand subtle expressions.
- Which body language (kroppsspråk), signals always tell the truth and cannot be hidden or faked.
- Why liars usually keep eye contact.
- How eye movements really give them game away.
- The most common gestures which indicate deception.
- See yes/no answers before they’re spoken aloud.
- How to put it all together and where most people go wrong.
While the mouth can lie, the signals in the face and body always tell the truth to those who know how to read them.
This is a practical workshop with role play and exercises which will allow you to practice each technique as you learn it.
